Using NetSuite dashboards to optimize your business

By - December 8, 2014

In today’s rapidly moving world, businesses need to make decisions quickly in order to remain in a competitive position. Not only do businesses need to react quickly to the external environment, but their internal users need to have visibility into their operations in order to make these quick decisions. The data needed for this visibility must be readily available, accurate, and relevant to the employee accessing it. This is made easy by configuring role-based dashboards within NetSuite.

Personalize Dashboards

With dashboards, employees have access to real-time data relevant to their roles. Dashboards can be configured to display KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), pipeline reports, and trend graphs. For example, a sales representative could have instant visibility into their lead response time, target realization, product performance, and quote to close ratios. Managers would have access to all their supervisees’ KPIs at a summary level, as well as the ability to drill down into this data for further analysis. This cuts time on communication, reduces data inaccuracy and redundancy, and provides an overview of an entire enterprise’s operations.

KPIs

NetSuite customers have come to love the dashboard capabilities and it has proven to be one of the key differentiators between other ERP systems.
