Question & Answer Transcript:
Lacy: The first question is does the ProShip integration handle 3rd party shipment as well?
Connor: The ProShip accelerator service does handle third-party shipment types as well. That is defined in the D365 delivery terms. You can use FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Any carrier you want to use can be supported.
Lacy: The next question is: Can I use transportation management to plan for internal transfers?
Nick: So you can use transportation management to put in plan loads with transfer orderliness on those loads. You can put sales orders and transfer orders on those, and the main downside to doing this is there is no way out of the box in d365 just with transportation management to allocate or assign any costs to specific items. Currently, it is separate from the transportation management module.
Lacy: Thank you, do the presenters have any closing comments?
Nick: Please do not hesitate to reach out to your RSM contacts or our D365 industrials team if you have any questions. Our email address is d365industrials@rsmus.com if you want to reach out to us there. Thank you.
