Notification: NetSuite Sandbox eCommerce Testing Issue

By - April 25, 2016

It has come to our attention that as of 2016.1, any client that does a sandbox refresh will experience  a customer issue with their ecommerce (Scriptable Cart) site in Sandbox. NetSuite in 2016.1 added a functionality to the creation of customers that tie that customer to production. This means that when the refresh happens you will not be able to access that customer in a sandbox ecommerce site. This only affects customers using Scriptable Cart who refresh their sandbox post 2016.1.

The workaround at this time is to create a brand new sandbox customer for website testing in sandbox. NetSuite has told us they are creating an enhancement request tied to case # 2406304.
