Introducing the Enhanced UX Suite: Extending NetSuite around the way your teams work

By - August 12, 2026

NetSuite is one of the leading cloud-based ERP platforms, powering thousands of organizations worldwide. It handles transactions, financial records and operational data with the rigor businesses depend on every day.

But every organization runs differently. Specific workflows, role-based needs, multi-system integrations and external stakeholder access often extend beyond what any out-of-the-box ERP is designed to fully cover. The question most organizations face isn’t whether NetSuite works. It’s how to shape NetSuite around the way their teams actually operate.

RSM’s Enhanced UX Suite was built to address exactly that. The suite is a growing collection of purpose-built product lines that sit directly on top of NetSuite. They extend platform capabilities, surface advanced functionality, integrate with other systems where relevant and tailor the user experience to each customer’s specific business needs. Today, the suite includes five product lines, with additional offerings under active development as new customer use cases emerge. Below is a look at each pillar currently in the suite, the capabilities it provides and the type of customer needs it’s built to support.

The Enhanced UX Suite for NetSuite helps organizations extend standard ERP functionality through purpose-built user experiences, workflow enhancements, reporting, dashboards and external-facing portals. Rather than replacing NetSuite, the suite builds on the foundation organizations already rely on while tailoring the experience to specific business needs.

Inside the Enhanced UX Suite for NetSuite

The suite includes a variety of products, each designed to extend NetSuite in a specific way. Together they cover the full range of customizations clients commonly need, from lightweight enhancements inside familiar screens to entirely new application experiences and external-facing portals.

Enhanced Apps

Enhanced Apps replace native NetSuite screens with purpose-built interfaces designed around specific business workflows.

Apps work best for high-volume or complex processes where standard screens require excessive navigation or multi-tab coordination to complete a single task. Common examples include intelligent vendor bill matching, multi-customer payment distribution and other role-based transaction-processing workflows. Every option writes directly to NetSuite, preserving the underlying audit trail and data model.

Enhanced Components

Enhanced Components are the lightest-touch tool in the suite. They’re custom UI elements embedded directly within standard NetSuite screens.

Components work well when a team needs additional capability inside an existing screen without changing the broader user experience. Common examples include custom action buttons, smart interactive modals and advanced custom applications inserted into a subtab. Users stay in familiar NetSuite screens, with new functionality added exactly where it’s needed.

Enhanced Reporting

Enhanced Reporting extends native NetSuite reporting tools with advanced multi-dimensional capabilities.

It’s designed for use cases where saved searches and the report builder reach their limits. That includes cross-module aggregations, drill-through filters, scheduled stakeholder delivery and professionally formatted exports for board packages or audit deliverables. Reporting is often deployed alongside Enhanced Dashboards to give teams both operational depth and executive-level visibility.

Enhanced Dashboards

Enhanced Dashboards add a layer of role-tailored, real-time visibility on top of standard NetSuite dashboards.

They work well for organizations where different roles need fundamentally different views of the business, or where leadership wants to monitor current operational data in real time. Layouts, metrics and alert thresholds are configurable without code, so business users can tailor their own views without needing a developer.

Custom Portals

Custom Portals extend NetSuite access to external audiences like customers, vendors, partners and employees through secure, branded, role-controlled portals.

They work well for organizations looking to reduce the internal load of answering routine external requests, or for teams that want to deliver self-service workflows to stakeholders who don’t need full NetSuite licenses. Multiple portals can run side by side for different audiences, drawing from live NetSuite data and any connected external sources.

AI Accelerated Delivery

RSM leverages artificial intelligence and large language models throughout the Enhanced UX Suite development cycle, from initial requirements analysis through final deployment. Applied consistently across every engagement, this approach reduces the time and effort required to deliver a working solution.

For clients, the effect is direct. Solutions reach deployment faster, engagement costs come down and the final software is more robust thanks to broader test coverage and more consistent code quality. These benefits apply to every pillar in the suite, regardless of scope or complexity.
