NetSuite Grid Order Entry

By - April 27, 2015

NetSuite Grid Order Entry (GOE) can be a huge time saver for distribution companies who fill complex orders with multiple matrix elements. If you spend too much time scrolling through a long sales order page with the same item listed multiple times but different color/size on each line, you should give GOE a try.

By opening the order grid you can select an item with matrix options and fill out quantity of each matrix variant in one grid. The page will calculate the percentage breakdown of the order, inventory information and cost for each option. When you submit the grid it will populate the sales order with all of the individual lines.

The addition of purchase orders to GOE in 2015.1 gives users the same functionality when ordering products from vendors.

NetSuite includes GOE in the Wholesale Distribution and Manufacturing editions, other users can add it as a stand alone bundle. If you think GOE could be a time saver for you, RSM would be happy to demo the functionality in more detail. Contact RSM at erp@rsmus.com or by phone at 855.437.7202.
