We understand that technology and industry expertise are critical to the success of our government contracting clients and are continuously assessing the market and regulatory trends to meet federal requirements.

RSM is proud to announce that we can sell GCC High and Microsoft Office 365 to our clients! Previously known as Microsoft Government Community Cloud-High, Microsoft GCC High is a version of Microsoft 365 that delivers powerful, enterprise-class computing with the security, privacy, and compliance necessary for the DoD and Federal contractors. Microsoft 365 GCC High is required for any organization that manages, creates, or otherwise handles the following data types:

  • Cybersecurity Maturity Modification Compliance (CMMC) Level 3
  • International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) This includes all CUI subcategories
  • Department of Defense Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (DOD UCNI)
  • Department of Energy Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (DOE UCNI)
  • Criminal Justice Information (CJI/CJIS)
  • Department of Defense, Impact Level 4 or higher (DOD IL)
  • North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)
  • Covered Defense Information (CDI)

“RSM can drive immense value into our GovCon clients with a wide spectrum of consulting services that now includes our very capable infrastructure, modern work, optimization, and security and compliance teams,” said Dara Castle, Washington DC metro market leader and government contracting national industry leader with RSM US LLP.

To apply for GCC High, you must complete the three-step validation process, which can take 3 – 7 days if done correctly. These steps include first requesting validation by reaching out to Microsoft to be registered as a Category 3 entity, then providing the corresponding documentation that proves you handle at least one of the aforementioned types of information, and finally working with an Agreement for Online Services for Government (AOS-G) Partner to submit the GCC High licensing request. Once approved, you can finally purchase GCC High through a trusted information technology solutions provider – such as RSM!

“Microsoft is committed to delivering cloud services to the US Government and their contractors. We could not do this work without the support of the partner ecosystem, and we are thrilled that RSM is now able to sell GCC High directly to customers. This will undoubtedly accelerate the journey to the cloud and, in doing so, empower agencies and contractors to achieve their mission objectives.” said Lili Davoudian, Senior Technical Specialist at Microsoft.
