BEWARE: Windows 10 EOL is Approaching!

By - March 26, 2025

On October 14th, 2025, Windows 10 will reach end of life support, meaning no additional quality or security updates will be provided. There’s no doubt that Windows 10 vulnerabilities will be discovered shortly after this deadline, including significant security risks, challenges related to mixed Windows environments, and software incompatibility.

What Do You Need to Know?

  • It’s critical to review your organization’s budget and possible hardware replacement needs.
  • Microsoft’s PC Health Checker tool and Intune’s Endpoint Analytics report are both resources that can identify whether a system can meet the requirements of Windows 11.
  • Though Windows 11 is essentially an advanced service pack for Windows 10—meaning most Windows 10-compatible software is likely to be compatible with Windows 11—software that is built in-house, software that interfaces with hardware, and regulated and validated environments may pose challenges upon the transition to Windows 11.
