Here are a few errors that may be encountered when using SmartConnect and some simple steps to try and fix them. As always, when using SQL, please make sure to have a restorable backup and test first in a test company.
Issue:
Company Button missing/screen distorted
Solution:
The display settings on the machine need to be adjusted. You can refer to the eOne Solutions KB article here: http://www.eonesolutions.com/help-article/kba-01111-g2p6v7/
Once you adjust your settings and restart the machine it should display correctly.
Issue:
Failed to convert parameter string to decimal
Solution:
Remove Amount field as one of the Key fields
Issue:
Failing to AutoPost using Stored Procedure
Solution:
Verify that all Checkbooks are assigned a Currency ID
