We’ve received many calls from users of Dynamics CRM 2013 that have been struggling with compatibility issues when using Internet Explorer 11. Since in many cases IE 11 was pushed to the user’s workstation automatically, this has been doubly frustrating. If I had to wager a guess, I believe the timing of the development of Dynamics CRM 2013 and Internet Explorer 11 made it hard to to do the proper compatibility testing between them, as I’m sure both teams were on a deadline and were trying to focus on their respective product’s feature sets.
Thankfully, however, a resolution is here according to the recently released Knowledge Base article for Update Rollup 2. It specifies that support for IE11 and Windows 8.1 has been added with this release. So, Internet Explorer 11 users rejoice! No more compatibility mode needed.
