Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 JavaScript OnChange of Checkbox Field —Now Instant!

By - December 14, 2013

For us Microsoft Dynamics CRM consultants or developers who has ever written JScript codes for on-click of checkbox field for OnChange event in Dynamic CRM, you will notice it does not fire your JScript instantly, you would need to click into another area besides the field for it to execute.

So, the way to get around that is use unsupported JScript codes to make the on-click control fire for Checkbox field during OnChange event.

After doing some custom JScript development work for my client, I noticed we no longer need to use  unsupported Jscript to make on-click of checkbox field instantly.

All you need now is update your Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 environment to Rollup 12, then put your custom Jscript codes on the checkbox field OnChange event, and it should fire your codes immediately when you check or uncheck the checkbox field.

This is a great change to handle on-click control for checkbox field and definitely needed.
