At the Orion Partner Blitz Training, Microsoft announced three new licensing level options for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2013. This will also be available for on-premises customers as well.
New Licensing Scheme:
Professional Level ($65 per user per month)
This level is for users who need a more robust CRM solution. This will include sales force automation and deep marketing and customer care functionality. Microsoft believes that this license will best fit user needs.
Basic Level ($30 per user per month)
This level will provide users with the ability to control the most critical aspects of managing customers including accounts, contacts, leads, case management functionality, reporting, and other custom applications.
Essential Level ($15 per user per month)
This level is designed for light Dynamics CRM Online users.
What’s more?
- There will be no additional licensing fees for mobile access.
- Customers will have the ability to mix and match amongst the three licensing options.
- Pricing can vary depending on other add-on services that may be used such as additional storage, testing and production instances.
- Microsoft also plans to add flexibility to their support offerings. Today, Microsoft offers Basic and Premier support. In the upcoming months, they will offer additional support options.
In summary, Microsoft Dynamics CRM will offer simplified licensing options that are easier to understand and offer customers more flexibility to mix and match user licenses to meet their needs. Read more articles on the new release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013.
