UKG Workforce Central support is ending – do you have a plan?

Make legacy UKG Workforce Central software migration a priority

Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG), the company formed from the merger of Ultimate Software and Kronos, and a leading provider of human capital management (HCM), payroll and workforce management (WFM) solutions, will be discontinuing support for UKG Workforce Central (UKG WFC), their legacy Kronos Workforce management solution. UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG Pro WFM, previously UKG Dimensions) provides a migration path for customers of UKG Workforce Central.

This was first announced in October of 2022, but here is what you need to know:

Workforce Central (Kronos Private Cloud): End of Life 12/31/25
Workforce Central On-Premise End of Engineering: 12/31/25
Workforce Central On-Premise End of Life: 3/31/27

UKG Pro WFM offers Time and Attendance, Absence Management, Scheduling, Forecasting, Labor Activity and Analytics modules.

An opportunity for workforce management improvement

While many companies will simply ‘lift and shift” and transition from UKG WFC to UKG Pro WFM, forward-thinking companies will use this as a time of transformation and re-imagine the future state of their workforce management policies, processes, and technology. Some companies will also revisit the vendor marketplace to identify and select their future workforce management solution.
